Terms and conditions

These Terms apply to anyone who uses the SportsKey website or platform, including organisations, parents and guardians, athletes, and visitors. By creating an account, registering for an assessment, or otherwise using SportsKey, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts & Eligibility

Athletes under 18 may only be registered on SportsKey by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the athlete's behalf.

Organisation accounts are for schools, clubs, academies, and sporting bodies. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

Assessment & Testing Participation

Participation in SportsKey testing and assessment events involves physical activity and carries inherent risk of injury. By registering, you confirm the athlete is medically fit to participate and agree to disclose any relevant health conditions beforehand.

You consent to photography and video capture during events for testing and promotional purposes. To the extent permitted by law, SportsKey is not liable for injury arising from participation, except where that liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Athlete Data & How It's Used

SportsKey collects testing results and performance data to generate dashboards, reports, rankings, and percentile comparisons. Organisations can view data for athletes registered under their programs; parents and athletes can view their own profile.

Testing results reflect performance at the time of assessment and are not a guarantee of future performance, selection, or recruitment outcomes.

Organisation Use of the Platform

Organisation accounts may access the athlete database, review performance insights, and create or promote programs.

Athlete data must not be shared, exported, or redistributed outside the platform except as needed to communicate directly with the athlete or their parent/guardian.

Fees, Payments & Refunds

Fees for assessment registration or organisation programs are outlined at the time of purchase. Cancellation and credit terms are set out in our Refund Policy.

Payments are processed securely by a third-party provider; SportsKey does not store your card details.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform, including attempting to access data you're not authorised to view, scraping or extracting data in bulk, or using the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

SportsKey retains all rights to the platform, brand, scoring methodology, and report designs. Using SportsKey gives you a licence to access the platform for its intended purpose — it doesn't transfer ownership of any SportsKey intellectual property.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

SportsKey provides data and insights to support talent identification and development — it does not guarantee scouting, selection, scholarship, or recruitment outcomes. The platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, SportsKey's liability is limited as set out in these Terms.

Third-Party Services

SportsKey uses trusted third-party providers for payment processing and cloud hosting. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply to those services.

Suspension, Termination & Changes to These Terms

SportsKey may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms. You can close your account at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
